London is the only UK City on target for Electric Vehicle adoption

According to a new analysis by the IMI, Clean Air Zones are failing to deliver on electric car targets, with a national average of 8 electric cars per charging point across the UK.  And only around 3% of all vehicle technicians are currently qualified to work safely on electrified vehicles - the vast majority of whom work in manufacturers’ franchised dealerships.

Car Technicians Must Be Trained To Work with Driver Assistance Technology If Lives Are To Be Saved

According to Euro NCAP1, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology such as automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning, has already reduced collisions by 38%. And approximately 10% of vehicles on UK roads currently use windscreen-mounted ADAS technology, with this set to rise to 40% by 2020.
